Terms of service
These Terms of Service apply to all wholesale purchases from Island Dogs LLC and to use of islanddogs.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Who Can Buy
Island Dogs sells wholesale to businesses that purchase products for resale. Before your first order, we ask for a valid resale certificate or tax ID. Exceptions are at our sole discretion.
Orders placed through Faire are governed by Faire's terms and policies.
2. Orders
We accept orders by phone, by email, and at trade shows. An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing or ship it. We may decline or cancel any order, including for pricing errors or product availability.
The minimum opening order is $150. There is no minimum for reorders.
3. Pricing
Prices may change without notice. Once we accept an order, its prices will not change.
Prices do not include freight or applicable taxes. We do not charge handling fees.
4. Payment
We accept credit card, check, ACH, and wire transfer. Unless you have an approved Net 30 account, payment is due before the order ships.
5. Net 30 Accounts
Net 30 terms require an approved credit application. Invoices are due 30 days from the invoice date.
If any invoice is past due, we may hold new orders and shipments until the balance is paid. We may change or revoke Net 30 terms at any time.
6. Shipping, Title, and Risk of Loss
All orders ship FOB Owings Mills, Maryland. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer when the order is handed to the carrier.
Freight is charged on every order unless a written agreement says otherwise. We do not offer free freight thresholds. Ship dates are estimates, and we are not responsible for carrier delays.
7. Returns, Damage, and Shortages
Wholesale sales are final unless a return is agreed to in writing before purchase. Damage, defects, shortages, and incorrect items must be reported within 5 business days of delivery. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
8. Where You Can Resell
You may sell Island Dogs products in your physical stores and on your own website. You may not sell them on Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, or any other third-party marketplace without our prior written permission. We may stop selling to accounts that break this rule.
We may publish a suggested retail price. You are free to set your own retail prices.
9. Product Images and Marketing
You may use our product photos, names, and descriptions to market and sell Island Dogs products you've bought from us. All designs, artwork, trademarks, and images remain the property of Island Dogs LLC. You may not alter our designs or use our images for other products.
10. Adult-Themed Products
Some of our products contain adult humor or themes. You are responsible for following all local, state, and federal laws that apply to selling, displaying, and marketing these products, including any age restrictions.
11. Use of Our Website
islanddogs.com is provided for information about our products. We try to keep product details, images, and availability accurate, but errors can happen and we may correct them at any time. All site content belongs to Island Dogs LLC and may not be copied except as allowed in Section 9.
12. Warranties and Liability
Products are sold as described. Except as stated in our Return & Refund Policy, products are provided without other warranties, express or implied, to the extent allowed by law.
Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for lost profits or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Baltimore County, Maryland.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The version posted on our website when you place an order applies to that order.
